Connecting Music & The Outdoors for Generations to Come

The Ashwabay Alliance brings together the region’s love of outdoor adventure and live music. Through community support, we protect and grow Mt. Ashwabay while strengthening the cultural venues that make the South Shore of Wisconsin a destination for recreation, music, and connection.

A Community Effort to Protect What Makes the South Shore Special

The Ashwabay Alliance was formed to support and strengthen the outdoor recreation and cultural experiences that define Northern Wisconsin. By bringing together Mt. Ashwabay, Big Top Chautauqua, and other community venues, the Alliance works to ensure these places continue to thrive for future generations.

From Stage To Summit
Why the Alliance Exists

Mt. Ashwabay and Bayfield’s music venues represent decades of community passion and creativity.

But maintaining ski trails, performance spaces, concerts, and cultural programming requires long-term support and collaboration.

The Ashwabay Alliance brings together organizations, supporters, and community members who care deeply about these places.

Together we can ensure the mountain and the music continue to thrive.

What We Steward

The Ashwabay Alliance exists to help protect and strengthen one of the Northland’s most treasured outdoor spaces, Mt. Ashwabay. From maintaining trails and supporting the ski hill to helping grow events and outdoor recreation opportunities, the Alliance plays an important role in making sure this special place continues to serve the community year round. Through community support, partnerships, and volunteer efforts, the Alliance helps ensure that future generations can continue to ski, run, bike, and explore the beautiful landscape that makes Mt. Ashwabay so unique.
